Saturday

My friend Carole came back to England and brought me some stuffs I had asked her (food and magazines !!) And here they are:

First my cross stitch magazines. Two Cross stitcher and one World of Cross Stitching !!! I love the Margaret Sherry's design with the dogs ( I'll scan it later).

A kit I got from Ebay but the seller didn't want to ship it here so I made her ship it to her mother in law.

Some chocolate to start my diet ... She also brought me some Dr Pepper for Chuy, some english sliced breads.

And she got me some used english books: 30 for only 6 Euros !!!! I am very very happy !!! If only I could find the same thing with spanish book !!!

Look at my boy when he wants to play at the Nintendo DS (see, he can be very cooperative when he wants to !!! I just need to find the right motivation !!! )

And here is my fuchsia last night:

Thanks for stopping by !!!

Those chocolate bars are making me drool! There's nothing like chocolate from the UK!

That new Lanarte kit is just stunning!

Oh yeah, my family is from the UK, so all my extended family is there. I've only gotten to go "across the pond" once, over 12 years ago.

Ooooh lots of stuff! What a good friend helping you get it all.

Is English sliced bread different to French?

MMmmmm chocolate, my tummy is rumbling.

Wonderful presents from the UK. :) It takes three months to get the latest CrossStitcher over here in Australia. I think we still have two more Christmas issues to go! It's great to get them from the source. And a mountain of books is always a great present.

Look at all those books. I love reading and to see a child with a book in it's hands does my heart good.

Very sweet of your friend to bring these treats back for you.

Steb is a darling and sooo innocent looking.

I am close to tears when I saw your Lanarte kit. I won a bid for this Lanarte kit sometime back but when it arrived, everything is intact but not the chart! The ebay seller was enough to refund me the money and told me to keep the rest. I wish I can find so many English books for €6 too. English books cost a lot here. Anyway, can't wait to see your wip on this Lanarte Orchids.
