I'm concentrating on the left part of the design now. It really change the whole look on the design to have some green. I'm planning on stitching all the left part now: there is more green and then it's a yellow flower The Yellow/peach flower is really beautiful: the colors are wonderful ! Even Emma loves it! (Well, she's not a cross stitch specialist, she's just my daughter but you know what we say about kids: they always say the truth - I'll take compliments from whoever it comes from )

Will you believe that I'm already thinking of what I want to stitch next? Having internet doesn't help being wise and reasonable. Yesterday my friend marie sent me a very tempting link Well, I did resist, I swear, for about ... three seconds See, Marie and I share a weakness for Lanarte ... And here I am, the proud owner of a new Lanarte kit : the Kiss Perfect with a hand dye fabric by the way ... I am now wondering if I should open her link in the future

Yesterday was sooooooooo long and so boring: rain all day, nothing to do (well, you know me, I can always stitch ) . For the kids is not nice to be in an appartment ...

By the way Karen , I think the ads come from one of my counter: I need to get rid of it and find an ads free one: any advice for a nice counter? What I love with counters, it's not to count the numbers of people but to see where they come from!

Monday !

My yellow rose/peach rose is almost done !!! I'm very happy to stitch those shades.

Will you believe that today is the first day of the fall vacations and it is raining !!! Pierre and Emma got a really good week end! Emma even went to the restaurant with her friend.

Orange

I started the orange flower! Yeah! I didn't stitch much on this flower even though I started earlier than friday night ... Weird !!! I'm happy to stitch a different shade! Usually I tried to stitch one part then another part but this time, I can't really do that. I tried stitching the vase only but I got bored with the different shades of beige. I should be more careful as I'm leaving small parts blank which mean I'll have to stitch them at the end ... Always boring ... Anyway, the pattern really come to life nicely even though the colors are a little darker than the kit picture ... I wish I knew how to frame ... All the stitching you can see in my photo album is not framed ... Will ever be? (for those who want to check the photo album, I remind you that you chose the album you want to see then you click on each photo to see the next one. My Lanarte album for this project is up to date )

Today, we changed time: we could sleep one more hour! I love it this way. It's even good for Chuy who will work morning shift this week and has to wake up at 4.20 am. Esteban was kind enough to sleep until 9.00 am so we all woke up at 8.00 am new time!!!

I can't stop looking at my silkweaver fabric! I haven't stored them in my treasure box yet They are so beautiful and golden promise really caught my eyes! It will be perfect for Santa's magic. I have the chart. It could end up like this one stitched by french stitcher.

Isn't it beautiful? I remembered she said it was a lot of work because there are many color change but the result is stunning It's nice to have great fabrics in our stash but I prefer to know what I can stitch on them. I am still puzzled with my kind of purple/pink fabric??? But I don't want to sell it (my fabrics are my own little blankies they confort me )

I didn't stitch much last night and I almost thought: what to bother showing my progress ? I sometimes think I must annoy you with daily picture??? But I feel bored today ... Have you noticed I added some stitches on the vase?

Emma went to sleep over at one of her best friend's house. The little girl's mom brought us some goodies: cereals bread and individual cakes . Isn't she sweet ? While Emma is at her friend's house, Pierre's friend Nicolas came over to spend the night here ! Maybe that's why I am feeling bored ... I feel I'm not totally "at home" (even though I'm wearing my dark grey love killing sweat pant I even have a name for it in the 3 languages that I speak: french: "tue l'amour" and spanish "mata amor". It's bought in the US what else can I say? ) Well, I've been checking internet for a while (instead of stitching) and discovered new blogs! (at least a good thing ) The 3 boys are having a blast in the bedroom (sorry for the neighbors ... Have you noticed how girls playdates are always quieter? (until they fight: I am the teacher! No, I AM the teacher, ... ) From here, I hear a lot of noise and a lot of laughters (no fight so far ... )
