Good sunday .

Yesterday was a good day: we went to the restaurant to celebrate Pierre's birthady and Chuy did have buffalo He said it was really good and taste like a regular steak. The restaurant has a texan look. We'll go back there with Chuy one day (without the kids ) Talking about the kids, they behaved so well that an old man complimented us on how well they behaved !!! Of course, we didn't do anything special Everybody was happy and hungry : so everybody was quiet and eating Here are some pictures at my mom's where Pierre opened his gifts. (by the way, he tried to trick me this morning: he wanted to bring the Nintendo DS at his grand ma's , not for him to use it No, no, it was for Emma Yeah right )

At the end of the day, Esteban who didn't nap , was so tired that he fell asleep on his chair :

She made RULES ! You can read: don't jump on my bed, don't say bad words in my bed And the best one: don't steal my teeth She wants to make sure the tooth fairy will come and have something to take away And she made her brother signed !!! Too cute

Happy dance and a new start !

I know everybody has their glitter ball ready to dance with me because the little mouse is finished !!! It's really a cute design, perfect for a little girl.

So after deep thinking I finally chose my next project. At one point, I even considered using Karen's method (eenie, meenie, minee, mo ) But I decided to be a little bit more rational (don't know why ) And the winner is : Roses and delftblue by lanarte !!! Sometimes I have trouble choosing my next project. I don't know why ... I still love all I have in my stash but I want THE project that will keep me going ... The Marjolein Bastin is not big ( 27 x 34 cm) so I may stitch it fast. There is 38 colours total. I'm a little bit disappointed about the colors. See, when I buy a kit , I expect the colors from the kit's picture to be the same when I stitch the pattern. I fell in love with the soft colors on the picture and they are way darker on the fabric ... I know I didn't make any mistake because as you know, the lanarte kits have pre - sorted threads . I know it's too early to have an idea of the final look.

Yesterday, I went to visit a friend and help her taking care of her kids while she was giving ride to one of her daughters who was invited to different places. Pierre came back with a migraine and threw up ... He has migraines since he got chimio shots in his spine during his treatment. Today, we are going to go to the restaurant with my parents to celebrate Pierre's birthday all together !!! It's a steak place where you can eat buffalo's steak I don't think I am ready for new experiences ... Pierre will get his birthday gifts from all of us: 2 Nintendo DS games and some Pokemon cards. There is only a little tiny problem: he's been grounded for 10 days and can't play because he misbehaved yesterday

Edit: It happened to Pierre last year too ... I guess this boy will never learn ...

I finished it but ...

I don't know what to do next .... I hate being between two projects and I hate having "nothing" to stitch ...

Not finished !

It's a small design but I didn't manage to finish it last night. Of course, it's almost finished and it will probably be done by tonight. There is a lot of yellow sigle cross stitch to add in the small flowers. Then I'll have to wait until the baby is born ... I still don't know what to stitch next. Last night, I showed my Lanarte Roses and delftblue kit by Marjolein Bastin to Chuy, telling him I may stitch that one. He said: " I'm sure you have better ones in your stash" I think that one is cute, don't you think so? The scary thing is to stitch the newest stash and not the old one ...

They start to put the Christmas stuffs in the store already I think it's too early. The children have to wait almost 3 months until Christmas and for them it's like an eternity ...

Emma is going to have a sleep over tonight with her two best friends. She's very excited about it ! Pierre was crying because it's always her who is invited and not him. So I promised him to invite one of his friends while emma will have a sleepover in 3 weeks. It's too smalll here to have a lot of guests ...

Esteban was funny yesterday because he tried to go to the restroom all by himself: he went to get a little step to turn on the light, took down his pants and undie and tried to sit on the toilet without the booster seat (but he needed some help as he was afraid of falling into the toilet bowl ) This boy is too cute He still doesn't know he's only 2 and 1/2 years old

Once again I went to bed late last night !!! It's bad, bad, bad ... But my mouse has ears !!! And a little flower appeared on the left! There are 4 big flowers and 12 tiny ones with 5 cross stitches. Could I have it finished tonight? I don't think so but when you read that, it does seem possible !!!

Wanna see a smile?

Not mine of course My little mouse has a smile. Obviously she's (I think it's a girl ) missing ears which makes her look silly. But isn't she a cutie? I'm going very fast on that one but I still don't know what I'm going to stitch next ... Really.

I have the Lanarte I bought with the mexican bear. Maybe I should stitch that one. Or maybe I could stitch Winter by Madame la Fée ?

The only problem with that one is that I don't have the right fabric ... Don't want to order more right now ... So I'm still puzzled ... I need to check my stash photo album: it should give me more idea That pattern will look great with an opalescente fabric, don't you think so?

I'm more and more original for my tittles So here is the new pic: the box is finished !!! Yeah! Isn't it a cute box? I even started the mouse's foot. (but you can barely see it !!! )





Debbie: I used to not finish my projects either. If now I finish them I think it's because I found the right fabric for me: lugana 32 count or 28 count. I do change all the fabric in the kits. Do you have a photo album so we can see your nice pieces?
