Almost done ...

The green brush was done last night and I started the border under the flower. I had to count very well as I don't write Marjolein bastin . I am not sure I counted very well though . I want the blue brush (the last one ) to be 4 crosses under the flower in order to have the same count as above the butterflies. I hope at the end, everything will look balanced ...

I still find the colours a little darker that I would have wanted (especially the big birdhouse ) but I got used to it It is almost over and I still don't know what I'm going to do with it ... I don't know how to frame . That's a big problem even though I am not too fond of putting a lot of stitched pieces on my walls. And I really stitch for the pleasure of it and the stress relief I get from it !!! I'll make my first attempt at framing with my Christmas Stories as I want to be able to display it at christmas time. I'll then take an already made frame and I'll try my best to make it look professionally made

Esteban still scream at night ... At first, he was fine with having the door open but not anymore... I don't know what to do. I'm very lost on that one ... Neighbours haven't complained so far but I think it is just a matter of time until someone knock the door (and I will understand them but what can I do ??? )

I'm weak ...

Here is my birdhouse: the feather is finished and I have started one egg under the main birdhouse. I should have stitched the nest under the bouquet but I didn't feel like stitching a nest. Maybe, it is a sign I'm getting a little bored with that project...

Well ... what you see is really what you think it is !!! I'm weak but you see, I've worked a lot on the birdhouse so I thought I just deserve a little reward to myself ! :-D I could indulge on ice cream but it wouldn't be good for my hips , right? And it doesn't mean I'm going to give up on my Lanarte. It stays my focus piece ;-) Anyway, the Lanarte charts are much easier to stitch than the Dimensions. I'm stitching my Christmas stories on a white 32 count lugana fabric. So I don't know if I could use 3 to 4 threads as they want us to ...

Another butterfly !

A new butterfly and more border ! I really like the idea to stitch the border along with the design. I still need to stitch the third butterfly then I will probably make the feather under the butterflies. I did about 50 % of the chart now.

I'm already thinking about my next project: I'm dreaming about getting the: christmas stories . It's a gold petite Dimensions kit that caught my eye !!! You don't know it but I'm in love with Santa Claus :D I don't know why I love design with Santa claus but not all santas! No, no, I love only realistic Santas (like the Santa from the Coca Cola company ;) ) I know: I'm weird :D I stitch that one a long time ago (It is an UFO right now: I made a mistake in the count do I need to frog it a little bit around his head...)
