Fixed !!!

I fixed it !!! It looks much better don't think so? I even started to stitch the upper dress !!! I was thinking about stitching the face, arms and legs on one over one but I don't think I will have the energy to do so ... It looks much better on one over one though. Click click to enlarge !!!

Our neighbor came back from their vacation in Spain. I had asked them to check if they could buy me some books for Emma. They only found that one: it's a nice one. She can read it with Chuy and they are some activities to do. Still I find it very sad that I can't buy spanish books from here ... And you know what? It's not even me who is going to make Emma study it !!!!

Fixing it ( no choice ! )

As you can see I'm stitching backward again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fixed only on part but boy, do I feel better: I don't have this weird dark grey blob in the middle of the dress. Of course, dark grey and dark burgandy are as close as whisky and water can be ... so I don't know how I didn't triple check the chart ... several times before yesterday ... Oh well, I only had to rip three parts so it's not too bad. It's such a pleasant project that I can't resist showing my daily progress !!!

Need to learn how to read chart ......

Can you believe I didn't see there were two symbols that were almost the same? Two triangles facing different directions .... That's why my colors didn't match the colors on the chart ... Let's blame it on the yesterday migraine (except I stitched it the day before the migraine ... ) Can someone kick my butt to wake me up ? Oh well, it will look much better after I ... frog, right?

I love when Emma goes to poney camp : after that she thinks her brothers are horses and make them train to run and jump !!!

Recipe for a fast progress !!!

1 - have a child at an all day pony camp (but any camp will work )

2 - have a toddler who takes a nap ( will help if the dad also takes a nap !!!)

3 - have a pre-teen who entertains himself ( don't look if he plays the DS instead of reading a 200 pages book ... )

4 - watch a good movie that you already saw ( so that you concentrate on your stitching and not on the movie )

5 - have a great pattern (with a newly enlarged chart !!! Yeah !!! )

6 - love what you're doing

7 - have a glass of water close to you (in case your smoking needle catches fire with your fabric )

Brew it all together in the stitching cauldron and your progress will amaze the world !!!

Of course, if you have a migraine, like me toaday, you may prefer take it easy and rest .

But I did my back to school shoping this morning and I don't think I forgot a lot of things. This afternnon, we found the perfect desk for Emma (understand a desk that fits the tiny space in her bedroom.)

Here, we hate mouting furniture but this one was not too much pain (understand we didn't fight over it )

Tadaaaaa:

Yes we even got her a pink chair that matches the desk beautifully. (I love the butterfly myself )

But look who thought the desk was his A rolling chair is soooooooo much fun when you are 4 years old

Yes, it's white everywhere in this house and it's driving crazy .....

You can't stop me now !!!!

Those colors are too beautiful to put the fabric down !!! And I'm having fun so I stitch! I stitch with a smoking needle !!! Keep in mind that this is a small design (8'x10'). But to go even faster I had to go this morning to a copy place to enlarge my chart because the transition between a large Lanarte chart and a small Nora Corbett was a little hard. I'm sure Nora Corbett don't stitch her charts at all otherwise, she'll make them a little bigger ...

Tomorrow is back to school shopping (not that I am ready for back to school ... I love to wake up at 8.00 / 8.30 )

Emma is at pony camp all week long and she loves it !!! You can't stop her when she comes back She tells you all about it: which horse she rode, what she did and so on ...
