Yesterday was the first day of sale day!!! There is two seasons of sales in france: winter and summer. They both last one month. So I went out yesterday to try to get some clothes for the kids. I like to get it at 50 % I also checked the cross stitch online shops to see what goodies they have to offer but was rather disapointed ... I don't have any cross stitch new year resolutions but like many of you, I have some health / weight related resolution. I want to loose weight. If you see my hidden ticker ( the one at the bottom of the blog ... ) , you'll see I have some weight to loose: minimum 5 kg (about 10 pounds ). Yesterday, when I tried some clothes I was desesperated ... They all fit so bad on me ... I bought 2 sweaters yesterday but it was really because I needed some. France is ruled by fashion: to look fine, you have to wear the clothes that are fashionable and the fashion for some time now is the close fitting clothes . With the 3 pregnancies , my weight is mainly around my belly ... so you can imagine how close fitting clothes can look on me IN Germany, at the base, I managed to buy Shape and Fitness magazines. In Texas I used to have a subscription to both. I always find them so motivating (with their success stories ) and full of tips on how to stay fit and live healthy. I always liked to excercice but now I have a bad knee so I have to be careful when I exercice. On monday, I started my program: mainly at home exercice. The one I know they work very well. I know I also need to add cardio. I am thinking on buying a DVD. Any suggestion? I don't want to be very skinny but I want to feel okay with the clothes I am wearing and be able to buy more fashionable clothes I am hoping to exercice 4 to 5 days a week !!! I did it this morning.
