Yellow progress

Do you see a yellow flower? I'm working on it and I'm almost done. I still have to stitch some white in it and then I'll move on to the right part of the yellow flower to stitch a small blue flower. When I'm done with that part, I'll make sure I didn't forget any stitches before going up to the next flower. (in the purple shades)

Marita, when Pierre started speech therapy, the therapist in Texas told us he will probably have to go to therapy until he's a teenager! I thought: yeah right! For me, it was not possible that it will take that long. And here we are: he's 11 years old and we still go there ... I know how it feels to not believe things can take very long. When Pierre got sick with leukomia, I was stunned to learn that the treatment lasted more than 2 years That's why I always say: take one day at a time ... What else can we do?

Today I may try to iron my fabric. You're right sugar doll: it's probably generic fabrics that she uses but the least she can do, in my opinion, is to IRON her dyed fabric to send to her customer a perfect piece !!! She can be sure I'm not going to order from her anymore and I'm going stick with Silkweaver !!!

Talking about silkweaver: I want to stitch a snowman/winter scenery and I'd like to know which opalescent fabric will be right for it. I'd like a light grey or a blue? If someone has the right color in their fabric stash, can you give the name of the fabric? Thanks for helping. I have bought a piece of fabric that would have been perfect from Little cat but unfortunately it's too small ...

wow, you made quite some progress. It is coming along very pretty. Congrats. Can't wait to see more.

I do not know which Silkweaver would fit to your project. I have a sparkly ice blue one that was rather nice.

That piece of Ice Blue (which I'd started stitching on) is too small? How big is this snowman? lol

Your flowers look lovely btw.

Hi! I came over from NaBloPoMo. I'm challenging myself to comment on as many blogs as possible this month.

Wow. That is gorgeous! I'm a fair-weather cross sticher: I usually only do it around the holidays for gifts. Your piece is so beautiful, it's making me want to go out and find a new pattern to work on!

Happy Posting!

Hi Chiloe! I tried to email you (as you asked in your comment on my blog) but the email was undeliverable due to a "SMTP" problem. You're welcome to email me at chatterton @ planet . nl (removing the spaces, obviously). Hopefully it will work. ;)
