Disneyland Paris

We woke up at 4.15 in order to arrive at the Chuy's company at 5.30. The buses left at 6 even (on time : nobody was late.) We arrived at Disneyland a little before 10, right on time for the opening of the park. ( If you sleep there you can access the parks at 9.00 ) On our way to Disneyland, we even had a glimpse of the Eiffel tower.

We really enjoyed our time there even though one day is really too short to see everything. First we went to Fantasyland where we found the rides for the younger kids. Pierre was not fine in the morning. He started feeling better at around 12.00 ( I had brought his fever medecine) so he didn't ride on any attractions in the morning. I also think he felt unconfortable with all the people around. We left at 8.00 pm and we arrived a little before midnight: we were exhausted after a whole day walking.

The park is celebrating its 15 th anniversary.

I'll try to post more pictures tomorrow ( I took 276 pictures !!!)

If you read the previous post, you know I decided to start a small project. As you may have noticed, I tend to stitch only huge pieces. I can't take them anywhere so I chose a small Lanarte kit bought on ebay a couple of weeks ago. here is my small project:

I chose to stitch it on a small opalescent Silkweaver solo. This is what I stitched at my mom's yesterday:

Bonjour Chiloe!!! C'est magnifique!!!!! Merci pour les photos :)

I have to giggle tho, Marjolein Bastin's projects are NOT small and easy girl lol but she is very cute....you should change her name from Vera to Velda *squeak squeak*

Salut!

I love Vera. Actually, I have loved ALL of Marjolein Bastin's projects. The colors are just beautiful.

I'm glad you had a good time at Disneyland. Your Cinderella Castle is so much prettier than the one we have here at DisneyWorld.

I love Marjolein Bastin's work, and Vera the Mouse - you'll be finished that in no time!

It looks like you had a fabulous time at Disney Paris!

Disneyland looks like so much fun. I'm envious.

Your small start looks very cute and you've made good progress on it already. I always carry around a small bit of stitching in my bag, usually a christmas ornament. Had to swap out my sewing scissors for a clover cutter so that I could get the stitching through security at hubbys work. My poor scissors kept being confiscated.

WOW! Your pictures of DL are awesome. I can't wait intil my neice comes over so I can show them to her. I would love to go to DL some day. What a dream. LOL And I think your new small project is going to look great on that fabric.

You are SO brave to go to Disneyland for one day only! We don't dare - the kids would turn into absolute beasts, I'm sure. ;)

Love that little mousie!!

Good job getting ANY stitching done. My goal for my vacations is to read one book with no interruptions. If I accomplish that, I know I got my rest. But... I do go shopping for sewing things :)
