Fairy !

Thanks all for your nice comments on my finished Lanarte I'm soooooooooo happy I'm done even though it's going to end up with all the unframed pieces as I still don't know how to frame them

I stitched my fairy yesterday. If you remember I decided to make some colors changes as it is originally stitched on 1 over 2 and has no pink or purple in it. I substituted some brown/beige colors for a pink and a purple. I still don't know how it will end up as it is my first time doing that. I'm not sure I chose the right colors: we'll know only at the end when it's done. Debbi, on this one, there is no specialty threads. It's only DMC (except for one mohair thread - I didn't buy it because I don't think we'll see the difference without it) I'm working on the dress. So remember, it was like that when I started it on november 20 th.

And this is my progress yesterday:

I'm stitching it on a 32 count (I think) rock a bye lugana fabric by Silkweaver. It's the butterfly (Papillon) by Nimue (it's a brand new release)and this is what it should be when it's finished !!!

Today is day second of my advent calendar exchange. I got a Lizzie Kate chart called: not a creature was stirring. This is my first Lizzie Kate chart. You may have noticed I love realistic designs. That one is nice.

Have a great stitching sunday

Thanks for rooting for me with my own stitching. It is greatly appreciated.

You've made some great progress on your fairy already. This one is going to be gorgeous.

I'm currently working on a Lizzie Kate piece, pics should be posted on my blog tonight!
