Sleepy !

What a night !!! Esteban is sick and threw up last night. We went to bed at 1.30 am ... I took him to the doctor this morning and like always: nothing obvious: no sore throat, no ear infection ... It's probably a virus ! Am I the only parent who has kids who gets fever only? Esteban is a little heater. Right now, he's sleeping and someone is playing with a drill

On the stitching front. I think I made great progress on the little boy. I made one of his wing (the smallest of course ) and I decided to stitch the white all around the large wing. I even added the backstitches because othrwise we don't see anything !!! I am struggling with the purple in the middle because I have to use one strand of purple but with one symbol, it's a full cross stitch and with another one, it's a half point ... And both are mixed !!! enough to drive you crazy I took my photo with my digital camera because the design is now really too big to fit completly in the scanner. Click to enlarge if you want to see it .

I hate the painters They were the ones who played with the drill Esteban woke up screaming when they started breaking something above his bedroom with the drill. So I spent the next 25 minutes with my hands on his ears he was so scared ... Poor boy: he slept only 1 hour and the fever medecine is not working yet ... If Steb was fine, I would have left but I can't take him out with fever.

Dear Chiloe, I have no words to compliment with you on your work. I's really beautiful...
In this moment I'm stitching Sarah Kay and Live within your harvest, but on September the 15th I'll start Country bloomers by JJ and on Sepetember the 22th I'll start As seasons change by Dimensions, as they are 2 SALs...
Enjoy your stitching!!!

It looks more beautiful every time I see it. You are really moving along now.

I hope Esteban is feeling better soon. Riley gets so upset when he hears loud noises too. They don't understand do they. It must be so scarey.

Oh, your poor little one. My eldest, Max, was a great one for getting fevers that had no discernable cause. I felt like the doctor's office should have had a revolving door, I was in and out so much. But what they say about a kid who is frequently ill when very young developing a good immune system seems to be true - Max has hardly been ill at all in the last years. Good luck!!
