If you have some time, you could over to pray for Luke, a little boy, who got leukemia last year. After a bone marrow transplant, he was better but last week, they learned his cancer is back. Luke is lucky to have a brother and a sister who are both a match for another transplant (It is rare actually to have 2 siblings who are both a match.) For instance, I don't know if Emma and Steb could be a match for Pierre but we do have Steb's stem cells (from his umbidical cord) stored, just in case ... This family's journey is going to be hard so I hope a lot of you will go to his blog to leave a prayer for him. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for your kind wishes for my dad surgery. He's at the hospital right now. Let's hope everyhting goes well ...
Last evening, Emma had another show with her music school. This time, the kids from different classes performed. You should have heard a little pianist who was playing extremly well after only two years of learning. BUT the kid IS passionate about the piano and I'm sure his parents don't have to tell him: go and practise your piano ... If I forget to tell Emma to pratice, she won't do it on her own ... Emma didn't play as well as she had the other time. This time, she was on a stage (she loved it!) but she was a little bit stressed out by all the people who were in the audience. Talking about the audience: I'm always surprised as how some adults do misbehave while the kids play on stage ... They talk, check their phone and so on ...
I got a nice mail day today as I received new stash !!!!!!!!! A french online store had a great sale. I ordered 3 kits, which were 60 % off each, and the shipping was 1 Euro only. Too good to not indulge a little bit. So what did I get?
A dimensions kit that I always found lovely. I never buy any Dimensions here but with the sale, they were the same price as in the US. It's a small one that I plan on stitching on a small hand dye fabric.
I also got two Lanarte kit (my weakness ... ) Peonies are one of my favorite flowers.
Do you notice these three kits have something in comon (beside being flowers )? Lets see who find the right answer !!!
As you can see, I finished all the black in the frame and I added some orange on the left border. I'm going to keep stitching the border before stitching the sky and the shading. Usually, I already think about my next project but not this time. Maybe guilt is taking over my brain and that's a sign I should finish my fuchsias before starting anything new ...

Hi, Chiloe! I've sent you an email about the CS&N Magazine giveaway on my blog. The magazine is yours, I just need your mailing address please!
I'm so sorry to hear this Chiloe :o( I do hope things will turn around for this family.
I agree, that is very rude, not only for other people in the audience but for the children who are playing >:o(
They're all PINK!!!! Am I right?? LOL!
Keep...going...you're...almost...done...
Sorry to hear about Luke - will be remembering him in prayer. Hope that it gets better. Your little Emma looks adorable! I'm thinking they're not only all a shade of pink, but they all start with the letter P. Stitching looks great!
Lovely new charts - I see they are all pink.... and they have very little green!!
Glad the performance went well.
Poor Luke. I'm sorry that he is going through this.
Of course I love pink so I noticed that. But I did note the minimal green too.
Hope your dad id fine now, it's terrible having to go back to the hospital.
Oh poor Luke, will definitely pray for him.
ALL of them are PINK!!! :) They are all lovely. Hope you enjoy stitching them
What lovely new stash. More flowers!! Girl you must love your flowers!
Nice photo of the budding violinist!
Will keep your friend's son in my prayers.
You must tell me which French ONS is having sale! The similarities for these 2 kits... they all have Greens. Emma looks really grand standing there with her violin.

I was amazed at both of my son's music nights at the school how parents just let their kids run wild in the back of the gym, etc. It was crazy. I feel that if the toddler/baby can't sit still, don't bring them, or at least bring something quiet to keep them occupied. It's not fair to anyone, including the toddler.
Your Halloween project looks great so far!
Wow, you are close to a finish! Great new stash too!
They are all in MY favorite color...How'd ya guess???? :-)
thank you for encouraging people to pray for Luke!
i hope Luke be better soon.
lovely kits, and lovely stitching,
Praying for Luke. I hope your Dads surgery went well.
Love the new stash.
Think perhaps that is guilt about the fuschia's lingering.
Great kits! Your Halloween design is great! Thx for the information on Luke......
Thank you for sharing that link about Luke and his family. I will keep them in my prayers.
You'd figure parents would know better. Way to set a good example for the kids. Would it kill them to turn the cellphones off for just a few hours, for crying out loud!
Lovely new stash items. I'm going to go with their being all pink.
Thinking good thoughts for your Dad, Chiloe. No, it doesn't surprise me at the adult behaviors -- Most are inconsiderate at any function. Doesn't matter if it's kids or not. Sad, really. :(
Oh P.S. GREAT STASH!
