The kids are on school break for two weeks !!!!!!!! That's a necessary break as we are all tired from the daylight saving time switch we did last week here ... Unfortunately, Chuy's company closes for two weeks ... Bad news ... So he's going to be on vacations as well. We don't have a lot of plans for these two weeks but we are going to go to an amusement park with Chuy's company (like we did last year but I'm not sure it's going to be as fun as Disneyland was !) and we need to renew Chuy's passport.
Thanks to those of you who prayed for Luke but it would be great if you could go to this website: 500 prayers for Luke to write a prayer for him.
This is what Shannon, who created the blog, is doing:
"I am doing both of the following with all the comments:
1. Put your name on a blue star (Luke's favorite color is blue) and taking them to Luke's hospital room and hanging them on the wall so that Luke will have a visual reminder each day that he has his 500 prayers.
2. I am making a booklet for Luke with all of the names and prayers and bringing it to him to have in his room as a tangible reminder of his 500 prayers."
We got two winners who guessed right about what the three kits have in common! Ginnie and Lauralness noticed that the green is minimal in the THREE kits !!!!!!!! I, I didn't even notice that when I ordered the kits; I actually noticed it when I downloaded the pictures on my blog. Of course, I'm very happy! Congratulations ladies: you really know what I hate
Black, I mean BOoo!: I have finally finished the border !!! Yeah!!!!!!!! Now, I need to stitch the sky and have fun with all the black and dark grey threads ...
Have a great week end full of stitching time

Great job on finishing the border! Now you're almost there.
I left a prayer for Luke - thanks for sharing this with us. Your Boo is coming along well. Not much more! Then what??? Did I hear Fuchsia??? Haha - ok, don't hit me - JK. :)
Felicitaciones por haber terminado el borde!!! Ya te falta muy poquito...animo!
Profites bien de ces vacances scolaires, vous avez une semaine d'avance sur les nôtres ( dis donc, tu n'ai pas en retard pour halloween ...)
Boo looks wonderful.
Great job on finishing the border. It looks so great! Love this one.
Here the kids also have 2 weeks of Easter holiday. We are planning to go to Disneyland Paris for 3 days. We needed the vacation also, everybody is so tired. Our store will be open during the vacation, but we can sleep a little longer in the morning.
Enjoy your vacation.
Vacations here don't start till the end of the month. Bad timing, as otherwise I could've gone to my Mom's. Oh well. We also have passport renewals - seems like they crop up practically every year. :(
Congratulations on finishing your border! It's looking great!
Booo! looks GREAT with the border finished...almost...there....just....keep...it....up!
I think I will finish the winter birdy. Wanna race to see if you can finish your fuschia first? Bwahaha.
Boo! is looking good.
We've just finished daylight savings and my girls transitioned really easily back to normal time. They never did really settle into daylight savings sleeping patterns so it is good to be finished it for another year.
We are also on two weeks school holidays and it is a great relief not to be making lunches each morning and having to rush off places.
Fabulous stitching! Enjoy your mini-vacation. I, too now have two weeks off. I'm planning lots of stitching!
I'm sorry to hear that Chuy's work is shut down but hopefully you all can make the most of it while he and the children are off.
Your stitching is beautiful and I thought you were done! I'm not sure what else you can fit in there but surprise me ;o)
Boo is really cute!
congratulations for your frame finish.
we have only one week, but we need this break time.
