What happens when mom is out ... ?

Last night I had the meeting at Emma and Steb's school from 6 to 9 pm. First, it was Steb's meeting, then the general meeting and Emma's meeting. So Chuy was in charge to finish the homework with Pierre and Emma, feed them and get the kids ready to bed. Well everything was almost good: the homework were not was they were supposed to be ... But the worst came at 4.15 am this morning: Chuy forgot to put a diaper to Steb (he's still have diapers at night). So he woke up saying "I'm wet" Chuy understood "I'm thirsty" ... So we got up to change him, changed all the bedding and we went back to bed (at least Steb and I as Chuy works morning shifts this week.)

I'm the only one who can really help Pierre for his homeworks and as you know, with Pierre, everything is difficult. Yesterday he came back with a note from his science teacher because he didn't give back his workworks. He had to explain how a swamp works. But with Pierre, you can just do the work; you have to make sure he understood, then if he doesn't get it, which happens quite often, I have to redo the lesson (and therefore look for informations on the internet) which take time ... And if he still doesn't get it, I sometimes give up (I know I shouldn't but it is so hard sometimes ... ) When you are a mixed couple, it is the one who speak the language of the country the best who is in charge of the homeworks. (that's why sometimes, it's better to live in a third country so everybody is equal )

Tomorrow will be the first day of the wednesday activities : (first speech therapy for Pierre but he started at the begining of september), Steb will have his first music class ( 45 mn) then Emma will go to her music class as well (theory) and I managed to reach her violin teacher for a class at 1.30 pm. Tmomorrow, I also have Steb's pediatrician apointment right after the class. Then I'll have to squeeze some time for Pierre's homeworks ... This afternoon, I had a migraine so I let Chuy be in charge but I still need to double check them and work on the science lessons ...

My progress (not much because of the meeting ... ):

Good grief! Life is very busy for you at the moment. I'm surprised you find any time to stitch at all. Stitching is looking good though :o)

I agree with Karen...good grief! You seem to be pulled every which way this week but you've still managed to get quite a bit of stitching in girl :o)

I'm sorry I haven't commented for a while but your stitching looks gorgeous!

Gosh you are busy.

Homework must be so difficult when you are basically having to re-teach the entire lesson. :(

I hope Wednesday goes smoothly and everything works out.

Your stitching is just lovely.

I really admire you for all the effort you put into Pierre's schooling. It's such a lot of effort, and the reward is so far away (= an educated, happy adult child).
