Today, my friend Christel, who just got seperated and now lives close to the beach before to get a bigger appartment, invited us for the afternoon. The beach do look fine on the picture but the wind was cold.
The kids decided to go fishing for crabs and small fishes:
Steb had a lot of fun running on the beach:
They did catch some crabs and a small fish:
And now, we have a new pet

Before we left, we saw something I never saw before (No I already saw rainbows !!! ) but this one was so unique. Usually rainbows go from the left to the right but this one was in the sky looking upside down from what we normally see ( do you see what I mean? ) I took the top of the building in order to see the shape of the rainbow better.
I'm very happy with my last night progress. I finished the bird house and I started one butterfly. One butterfly has more back stitching on the picture than on the chart. I still don't understand why sometimes the pictures and the charts don't match ...

I have never come across a chart being different from the picture ... or I've never noticed. Have come come across that a lot? Your stitching is looking gorgeous :o)))

I had to look up upside down rainbow, it's a rare phenomenon created by light shining thru ice crystals high in the atmosphere. I would LOVE to see something like that!
