Progress, prize and more ....

It's funny how this message got out of my control and started to live its life on its own without any words from me ... Thanks to those who commented on the pictures !!!

As you can see, I'm working on butterfly number 3 !!! I do try to stitch a little bit of the border but don't realy like it ... Maybe when I won't have the choice, I'll find a way to stitch all the border without whining

Look at what I won on Petra's blog:

Yep, a nice Halloween book full of recipes and ideas! She sent a Halloween card as well: I love the picture !!! Thanks a lot Petra for opening your contest to international readers

Silkweaver had a happy pack and I ordered one (couldn't resist again ...) but got disapointed a little bit. Indeed, as I am a FOTM customer, I got some colours I already had but there are easily usable as I got golden promise and antique gold (+ spring garden : greeeeeeeen !!! )
I wanted to show you the surprise we can get when we buy on Ebay. I knew this kit was opened but I never thought I'll find the threads packed individually in a small plastic bag !!! I'm not even sure all the threads needed will be there as I didn't check it yet. I bought it to stitch for a friend or for charity.

Pierre came back with a bad grade: 1.5 on 10 .... I knew it as I wasn't able to do his homeworks with him on monday (when I had all these meetings on Emma and Steb's school). The only good news is he gets good grades in english and even volunteered to answer an oral test (I will be very worried if he had bad grades in english too because Chuy speaks to him in english ... but writting english is another story ... he has to learn like everybody else . )

Have a good week end !!! I have a cold but still need to get up tomorrow morning for this school
(by the way: this message is better with one or two sentences, ins't it? )

This is looking beautiful! You are moving along so quickly on it! I am sorry to hear that Pierre is having trouble still. I hope it all evens out for him. Wade says Merci for the birthday greetings (he takes french at school)

Your flowers and butterflies are looking more lovely everyday. Hey, I think that golden fabric might look great for Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. What do you think? Should I purchase that color from them for that piece?

bisous.. bon week end.

The Halloween book looks like fun! It's too bad we can't be in two places at once, no?
