Life and stash ...

Today started very funky. We were getting ready for an 11 o'clock appointment for Pierre when I decided to double check the appoitment time. That's when we had to move fast: it was 9.45 and the appoitment was at 10 o'clock ! No more time to drop Emma and Steb off at my mom's house and like she's the only person in the world who doesn't have a cellular, I couldn't join her. I washed my hair in 2 minutes and on the road we were We made it only 10 minutes late ... Then we all headed to downtown where we ate in a tex mex restaurant. My needlestore is now closed and has been sold. It's sad even if my last experience with them had been bad. I always liked to go there and check the charts and fabrics. Internet is convenient and cheaper but will never be the same ...

I'm still having fun stitching that one. Actually I'm almost done because I still need to stitch the little boy and the Santa's head.

I'm glad you liked the idea of my new blog. It is still under construction as I will be added new links when I'll have more time. Windy, I was able to do it because my 3 kids were spending the afternoon with their grandma and I selfishly took time for me and only me (which means: no ironing, no cleaning, no necessary things to do during that time ) If you have some links that could be added, don't be shy and share them with the world

Today I added a new kit to my stash. I couldn't resist and when you'll see it, you'll understand why right away:

Another old man in my collection. And you know what is bad? I saw more cute christmas designs in the Needle Treasure collection

Oh Chiloe I am so behind with blogging and there is so much to catch up in your blog. I love the zoo and the sea side pictures, mmm one little boy is going to hate you for that pic one day LOL.

I love the new santa one and the "We Believe" one also, though is there not a lot of green in that one for you???

Talking of green have I missed something or has Country Home been put to rest for a while?

You must be Wonder Woman!!!! I know I would have been more than 10 minutes late at that rate :oS

Your new site is very neat. I'll have to send you my album. Do you have an email address you can send me?

Oh, nice addition! Who doesn't like Santa :O)

Your WIP looks lovely! It was great to visit your blog again, I've been very much behind in reading and commenting after the busy summer. Have a happy end of the week!

Great progress on your stitching and I love the new addition to your stash. That is fantastic.

Well done on getting to that appointment in time! With three children to get out the door I'm amazed you made it.

Tex Mex sounds good right about now, and it's only 9:18am! LOL

My "new" LNS has already closed the doors, less than 4 months of being in town. :( So, I, too am back to buying online. Shh, I'm on a self-imposed stash diet.

Cute new kit you added to your stash. :)

It's sad when our favorite places close isn't it? They can never be replaced either. In this economy over here alot of places are going out of business.
