Wednesday in january !

Thanks for your comments and advices about my non weight loss. You are so nice to support me when I feel like a failure . I'll keep doing it anyway. I just need to tell myself I'm doing something good for my health. I didn't exercise on monday because my shoulder was still painful and yesterday I was out of the house all day long. I went chasing the sales so I walked a lot (I'll take that as an exercise, right? ) But today, I was a good girl and did a proper exercise. I cheated on Denise Austin , who was so proud of me, with Leslie Sansone who keeps telling me I will never regret exercising (she's right, I think) !!! I love her DVD: it's very easy to follow! I'll weight myself again in two weeks I guess. I'm afraid to be disappointed again with almost no weight loss ... I'm going to keep focussing on my measurement tough Will you believe that today I was able to do 20 push-ups : not the real ones, the ones with the knees but still: it's hard to believe !!!

Here is a new pics of my fuchsia; not the greatest picture but you'll see I'm still working on those pink/purple petals - click to enlarge.
Thanks again for stopping by!!!

Chiloe your fuchas are just devine!

Keep up with the exercise and diet, sometimes you are putting on muscle and burning fat but the scale just dosen't show it. Its a challenge to find just the right combination of exercise/food for your body to show it at the scales.

Kudos on the push-ups! I've been doing my push-ups on my knees ... forever! Now with my weight loss I'm now doing them on my toes and I'm so proud of this fact. Give yourself time, because weight loss is not a fast process and its best done slowly.

Keep going you can do it!!!

P.S. I HIGHLY reccomend Weight Watchers.

Don't give up on the exercising! You'll regret it, my dear.

Stitching is gorgeous, as always.

That work is beautiful, I did the click to enlarge thing and checked out the detail. What is the fabric?
I find that maintaining an exercise program is more beneficial to my overall health than specific weight loss, keep up the good work.

Sounds like you're doing great - incorporating exercise in your daily life, with what you like. Sounds like the way to go. I need to get inspired myself.
Fuchsia is looking better and better!

Your flowr is beautiful and try not to be too hard on yourself with the weightloss. I struggle with it too and have started yet another time of dieting! Hang in there!

The weight loss is just small steps, which is painful but I've found if you loose weight too fast it all comes back even faster.

Loving the stitching.

I'm sorry I missed your last post about exercising. I've been a little (?) caught up in inauguration fun.

I still want to send out a "you go, girl!" on the exercise. As you know, I joined a gym in August and for two months I made it there five days a week for my 45-minute relationship with the treadmill. Then, in November, I went for a visit to my internist. I was EXACTLY the same weight as I'd been on the previous visit, which was very discouraging. But she reassured me, and I will pass this to you, that muscle weighs three times more than fat. As you exercise you are building muscle and losing fat. You have lost MORE than just one pound of fat, but you have built some muscle that is causing the fat loss not to show on the scale as much.

Keep up the good work! You are doing the right thing!

The fuchsias are gorgeous! Don't worry that you have only lost one pound. The chances are that you have gained muscle. Keep up the good work.
