Bugs bugs me !!!

I've been fighting lice on Emma's head She got those at school, of course I never caught any while at school, Pierre either. Emma has long hair (soon it's going to be shorter ... ) and I think we didn't make her wear a pony tail fast enough to avoid those creepy tiny bugs . And even though she was complaining about her head being itchy, I didn't find anything (mostly because I didn't know what I was looking for ... ) Then when I realised she did have lice, I bought the right shampoo to kill those enemies and of course, change her bedding, put her clothes four days in a bag to make sure those bugs will be dead before I wash the clothes. But you knw the worst thing about it ? She shared her bugs with ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So here I was with that oily product on my hair ( ) Of course, I changed my bedding, put my clothes in a plastic bag and today, I discovered 4 lices on Esteban and one on Pierre So tonight, it is an oily night for the guys' head ... (and Chuy will do it too because I regret now having treated the whole family as the same time as Emma ... Lesson learnt the harsh way though ... ) Emma got them first, she "nicely" shared them with me, then shared with Steb (she loves to read to him) and didn't forget Pierre (their heads are so close to each other when one of the three plays the Nintendo DS ...)

Tomorrow we have one of Pierre's friend over which means I have to change their beddings, put the clothes in a plastic bag before the boy arrive. The boy is funny: he asks "is it going to be only me who is going to eat with you or my parents too? " I don't even know the parents so I don't imagine myself inviting perfect strangers for lunch ...

You know I didn't put the ticker to get gifts: it just reminds me that soon, I'm going to get older but thanks for thinking about me It's very nice for me to think you appreciate my blog a little bit Petra, I'm not going to do anything special on my birthday ...

Frogging was again a part of my life last night I had to stitch twice the letters W and E I guess if I was not blogging, I would have gave up a while ago (out of the window, trash can, drying cloth .... )

Rowen got lice the year before last and it totally grossed me out. UGH! By the time we realized she had them, she'd also "shared" them and we just treated the whole family in one big, greasy session. I never had lice, nor did my brother, when growing up, but Niek tells me they were a frequent "visitor" of his childhood. UGH!

Ahhh! I think every family with school age children get them at least once. I know once was once too many for us, lol
I love your little funny expressions, they make me smile.

I can't stop scratching my head now! Too bad you can't send the lice over to torment your frogs.

OH NO!!!! Ewwwww! I can't imagine having to deal with that :o( I had lice when I was a kid and I had long hair too. Good luck getting those icky things out. ((((HUGS))))

OMG, are you almost done this project already????

Yikes! I'm sorry that you have to deal with that. Karin's got a good idea though... if only it's possible. Then our lives would be lice and frog free :)

Just a little more to go. Don't give up... almost finish. Dang, you sure stitch fast.

I can spot lice pretty easily--I've taught little kids for over ten years now. Last week one of my students had it, it's so contagious.

Lice dislike processed hair, or hair with hairspray. They like 'virgin' hair without products on it.

My daughter had it once, it was awful but no one else got it. Worse was the scabies my son had, and I caught from him. Far worse!

Take care.

Oh no not lice! Poor you, I don't envy you at all!!!!!
At least it's not ON YOUR birthday!
My mom has Birthday on Nov 1, so you are both Scorpio....ohhhhh....which makes you a determined person so you must carry on with this map and just fight past the frogs!

Yucky! Gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about the little white critters. Hopefully with all the oily stuff, you've got em all dead.

I hope the froggies leave your nest too!

We had a false scare with lice a while ago and that was bad enough. I'm not looking forward to the day we have real lice. You have my sympathies.

Ugh.. I hate dealing with lice. Mr. T hasn't had it thankfully but my niece had it 3x in a row (they finally discovered it was the baby-sitter). Good luck!

I miss one day and he's practically done! Great work! Sorry about the frogs though :(

I'm halfway done with Christmas shopping. Yay for planning ahead!
