Scissors and stash

This morning I went shopping with my mom. This christmas shopping had to be started even though I think it's too early. But if we don't do it now, some stuffs will be sold out before we know it ... It's every year the same story ! When I came home I had a good surprise in my mailbox:my new chart !!! So the copy is ready, the fabric is chosen ( a small rock a bye silkweaver fabric) and I just need to look for the threads. This is a Nimue chart called le papillon (the butterfly) I bought it here (great and fast service) Like I told you yesterday, I don't like everything they do but I fell in love with this little fairy girl Blue, this is all your fault

It has to be stitched on a 32 count on 1 over 2 but I'll do the classic 2 over 2. I will start it as soon as possible.

I also took a picture of my FOTM. This month I got Dusty blue 28 ct lugana and summer sunset 32 ct lugana (a light pink). I love the light pink.

So Blue tagged me to show my stitching scissors. For a long time now, I am seeing these beautiful and fancy scissors on the blogs I read. Well, fancy hasn't hit home yet And here are my scissors

I bought those a long time ago at Hobby Lobby There are not fancy but they cut well Of course, I really like the fancy one. Maybe one day, I'll buy a nice fancy scissors ...

I'm almost there

Yesterday, I was bragging about Steb and his cuteness. Do you know what I found in my wash machine this morning while I was putting my clothes to dry? I could do a contest but I'm sure nobody will find it: I found the remote control for the DVD player Thanks god, I had washed the clothes last night (he probably put it this morning ...) and the remote control was just a little wet. I tested it : it's still working !

White flowers

Can we see white flowers on a scan? Well not really. But this is what I have to stitch right now if I want to stitch my so loved vase It really look great in real! I still need to stitch more white, not my favorite but it's motivating to see I'm almost done with the main design. What I REALLY need to do it's to chase those confetti stitches that I left behind on my way to fun colors! I guess you want to see the pic?

I have some stash exciting news !!! First I got my FOTM package this morning. I was living to get Emma at her violin lesson when I saw the mail carrier. I was expected my package so I asked her if I had mail and she said no. I was leaving disappointed when she called me back! She checked in the wrong place. So I left with my package and opened it right away in the car !!! I'll take pictures tomorrow. Second exciting news: I found out in a forum, (thank you Blue ), that a designer that I am not too fond of, has a new release. And I fell in love I know what you're going to tell me: I'm such an easy girl who fell in love like others goes to the toilet Once again I want to make this clear: IT IS NOT MY FAULT ! I am just the vicitm of the designers who keep creating stunning designs ... I'll show you as soon as I'll get it! I'm already planning on starting right away !!! I have the perfect fabric for it (that smilie is not picking his nose, it tries to say shhhhhhhhh )And I'm also waiting for my kit !

Esteban is really growing (2 years and a half). He's now in his "WHY" stage. Two or three days ago, he asked "why it's not working?" First question and proud mother Now he's using the why whenever he needs it. He also gets out of the car by himself now. Oh! and he also fakes burps like a big boy I talked to the speech therapist this morning and she told me it's great the way he makes sentences (even though he doesn't pronounce everything well yet. ) Well, I don't want to brag too much about my baby (or is it too late? ) but I don't stop being amazed by his personality (wants to do everything by himself), his progress, his cuteness, by HIM! See Esteban is a surprised baby, we didn't plan for him to come with us (it was the wrong time, Pierre was having his treatment) But we don't regret anything even though it was very hard at the begining

Blue challenged me: I have to show my stitching scissors. I feel someone is going to have a good laugh tomorrow Check her own scissors.

Today, I need to prepare my exchange in order to mail it next week. I signed for a christmas exchange: it's like an advent calendar: you open a small gift a day. I hope my partner will be pleased by my choices ... It's my first exchange so I'm not sure I chose the right gifts ... I still have to stitch the stitched gift we had to do though

Will you believe that I got inspired by Missy and signed for the NaBloPoMo I didn't really understand how to enter my blog to their list ... Should I email them my blog's name? Anyway, like I am already a daily blogger (well, most of the time) I thought I may get new reader by signing in I'm not sure that the whole may be interested by a stitcher exciting life ... ? Do you think the OTHERS (= non stitchers ) can really understand how we get excited by a colored fabrics? by a new kit? by an hand dye thread? Maybe after reading cross stitch related blogs they will pray everyday that their kids never become stitchers Become gay, move to the moon, dress as a pirate everyday if you want to but NEVER EVER become a stitcher ! Just to show the whole world we are normal people, I am going to show my new stash !!! Yeah stash day !!!!!!
