Just another day

A note for Megumi who started a new blog: Megumi,we can't leave comments on your blog ...

Have you noticed I added a chat on the right? Don't hesitate to drop me a line: we could chat live !!!!

Our white walls have now a new companion. My dad found this vintage poster a while ago (ok, a long long time ago) and it finally made it to our wall. (it was actually hard to find a ready to frame frame.) The colors are actually darker in real but the weather is really bad today.

It's amazing how a frame can change a room. It makes me feel more like at home. White walls are fine but you have to have frames or something on the walls to warm the rooms, otherwise it's a little depressing ...

A while ago, Cathy was destashing and offered some chart on her blog for free. I was one of the lucky recipient. I chose the stitching sampler by Sue Hillis, the Stoney Creek leaflet (because it has music notes and a violin on the back) and the Mirabilia chart. Thank you very much Cathy for your generosity. I'm very happy with my new stash !!!

Google celebrated the 100th birth of Charles Darwin yesterday with a new logo.
I made some good progress on my floral kitty. This time, I didn't centre my design and I start to wonder if I will have enough around the design to frame ...

Love your hello kitty. The fabric really goes well with the design.
I need some site where I can order fabric online and ship them to my husband in Cupertino. Any suggestions? Unfortunately we don't get a great variety (any variety) of fabrics in India :(

Nice work on floral kitty, when I was a kid we could buy a lot things with kitty on it, that was so much fun. Now it is all coming back :)))

Posters and pictures certainly make a wall look better but the thing that makes your walls really stand out is having some stitching up there :).

Sure is an amazing poster though and so perfect for your home.

Hope you can get the Hello Kitty framed. I've had that problem in the past and it called for some rather creative work arounds.
