Really a good idea?

So I decided to stitch the faces and hands on 1 over 1 but little did I know the pain of stitching on 1 over 1 on a 32 count fabric I try to stitch a little bit at a time but I feel I will finish the dress before her face ... I know I will be probably very happy with the result but right now it is :

The colors are beautiful and very christmasy !!! I'm glad I chose a 32 count fabric because we can't see the fabric through the stitches ( I hate that ) .

I didn't get my FOTM and my other order from Silkweaver
I start to worry ... Those enveloppes were sent on january 9 th and 10 th. Usually they arrive in one week. For my ends and odds order, I bought the extra insurance ( I never do it ...) I hope they will come tomorrow (that's what I tell myself everyday ...

We also have good news for Steb: I don't remember if I had told you but his pediatrician had told us Steb seems to have undescended testicles ( or very mobile ones ) . So last week, we had an appointment at the hopistal to get the opinion of a surgeon. He told us to wait 2 years and then he will see him again and will decide if he needs surgery or not That makes me happy because I was NOT ready for him to have a surgery of any kind ...

ah but skin looks SO much better over 1, you will be glad when it's done, it will look so much different :)

As for Steb, we had the same problem with boy #1, at 2years old they dropped, no surgery. Wishing you the same luck! ((Hugs))

I love the skin over 1. I know it is a very time consuming task, but it is gorgeous!

Good luck with Steb.

1 over 1 on 32 count can be daunting, but the outcome will be worth it. She's looking beautiful!

She is beautiful!

I am sure your order will turn up very soon. Post seems to be so slow since Christmas.

Good luck with Steb. Keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't need surgery.

I understand completely your struggle with 1 over 1 on 32 count! In fact, I nearly gave up when stitching the face for Romantic Stitcher. As for her hands, now I'm just... procrastinating. Hope you get your FOTM soon.
