TGIF !!!

This week, Chuy worked 4 days: we thought: that's great because he's been working only 3 days a week for a month now. Unfortunately, next week he's off ... all week long ... I hate this economy ...

Thanks for your comments about Pierre. I don't really think it's a stage as he's been in his terrible two's since he's two years old . I really hope things will get better as it's exhausting to have the feeling to do everything for a child and see that he doesn't really make any efforts or care ...

The weather was really nice today so we took advantage of the garden after school. It was really nice to play volley ball (until Chuy sent the ball to the old lady house who didn't show up when Chuy rang the bell ... so we stopped playing ...) I also planted some flowers: I can't wait to plant more .

Boo is progressing nicely: I added more candies on the left and the cat is finished. This design is smaller than I thought but that means I could start a new one right after, right?

Je trouve les Madame la fée très chouettes en règle générale mais là, le chat, je le trouve un chouia raté. On dirait un loup-garou des Carpates. Creepy.

Boo looks fab! I like to stitch some small projects between larger ones. Sometimes those quick finishes are just the ticket.

The colours are showing now on your Boo. The candies there really make a lot of difference, more colours added to it. It will turn out lovely.

Btw, I still haven't find my letterbox key :0(( and also haven't been working in the garden for 5 days now.

Boo looks so great! I love the colors of it!

I also hope the economy will soon be better. It seems in every country a big problem. Lots of people are losing their jobs here. We keep our fingers crossed that this will change soon.

Talk about terrible Twos!!!! DH and I share a joke between us. Two is terrible.. what happens after that? Oh, we just get used to it :d.
Boo is coming up really well. You know after seeing your pace, I really feel ashamed to post my progress as "progress" :(

Boo is looking good.

I'm sorry about the work stuff, it is so hard at the moment with this terrible economic crisis.

Boo is looking terrific! Thanks to your example of showing how a little bit of consistent work at a time yields a beautiful piece at the end. My Easter piece is moving along nicely, a little bit at a time.

Re: economy. As our school district lays off 57 teachers (with another 17 possible in the next few weeks), it's been hard to convince them that this isn't a local issue with a local solution. This economic crisis is GLOBAL.

Re: Pierre. I guess I missed it but why do you feel you have to do EVERYthing? I teach the children of parents who tried to give them everything every day. The kids are weak, whiney and don't think they have any responsibilities in their own education. I tell parents to communicate their expectations, set the consequence if the kid doesn't meet it (and be ready to be tough and follow through if they don't meet it), then get out of the way. Usually, once the kids have suffered the consequence they are more "open to suggestion" on how to be more successful.

Sorry. I shouldn't lecture. Just frustrated by my own situation, I guess. Hugs and good luck!

Finally I can leave a comment! LOL.

Sorry things seem tasking and all. Hang in there and encourage them. These things seem to happen to all little boys (just my own experience). Eventually they figure out that things are more pleasant when they "take up the reigns" for themselves. hugs.

Your stitching is so colorful. Are you still having fun with this piece? (Halloween).

Sorry about Chuy's work schedule getting cut. They cut my husband down to 4 days instead of 5 for this week and next. Booo

Speaking of...

You're stitching that project up so fast! Do you know what you want to start next?
