Do you want a good laugh?

This morning, I was very careful to not forget my Robin in my scanner. I put it in my "on the go" bag and here I was on my way to my parents' house. In the afternoon, during Esteban's nap, I took out my fabric eager to finish my robin. Well, I had my fabric but I forgot: my chart and my threads I couldn't believe it ... I thought, that's fine, Vera the mouse is going to advance a little more. Wrong: I had also left the chart at home. (yes, I deserve a double one on that one ...). So I had no choice but to start my next project. A clue for Becca: it's cute Anyway, here are my two progresses:

My Robin:

Vera the mouse:

I'm not done yet on the robin so I'm hoping to finish tonight. I mostly have some backstitches and some branches. Tomorrow, I'll show you my new started project

Something unexpected and scary happened during Steb's nap: He called me crying. When I arrived I quickly saw he had stuck his finger in a small window of one house Emma has. I tried to get it out but couldn't. I called Chuy and told him to bring the hand washing soap. The finger was really stuck and I thought we'll have to break the house. Finally Chuy managed to slide the finger and the house was spared He could move his finger so everything was fine. Kids: I wonder where they get all these crazy ideas

  1. Your wips are looking great. You daft duck leaving your threads and charts at home lol.

Riley got his finger stuck in the underneath of his highchair tray the other week. That was scarey too because we couldn't even get under properly to see how to get it out.

  2. Both stitchings are looking really good. Glad Steb's finger is ok. My daughter got her leg stuck through the bars of a woodern chair when she was small... we had to saw the bar to release her!!

  6. Forgetting one thing is not so bad but it's frustrating finding out you've forgotten practically everything behind, been there done that... :) But your Robin is still getting along nicely.
