Adventure in Chiloeland

Here, kids don't have classes on wednesdays so on tuesday night we decided they could watch our local "idol" until the commercial break. Steb stayed with us as well but he was not really interested by the TV. He was playing on Chuy laps when suddendly he fell over and bumped his face on the coffee table. I heard a big noise His nose started to bleed. That was scary. Pierre started to panick and cried (he doesn't really stand to see blood. When he had his blood transfusion, the nurses always covered the blood pouches with foil paper.) then Emma cried too. I called the emergency line and the doctor told me his nose was probably not broken as little ones don't really have a nose bone yet. The bleeding stopped and we put him in bed but we woke him every two hours to make sure he was fine. Since Nathasha Richardson death, I take head traumas (even little one) more seriously. It was hard to wake up but I fell better checking on him during the night: better safe than sorry ... I took him to the doctor on wednesday and he was fine. The doctor gave me a medecine to help his nose heal. What a scary adventure ...

That night, I didn't stitch but last night, I stitched again on the reindeer. ( I admit it: I'm getting tired of the browns ... )
Chuy is on "vacation" ... again ... Well, he doesn't have the choice as the company is closing for a week because of the bad economy ... Another bad news is that his summer vacations are going to start on july 1 st until the end of august ... scary ...

I hope Steb's nose heals quickly. Those are the worst sounds to hear because it always means someone is hurt.

I hope steb is doing well. How scary. I too take head traumas more seriously since Natasha's death.
The header on your blog looks great! The background matches it so nicely. When ever you are ready for a new one let me know what colors, season, theme you want and I'll have a new one made for you. I have several made for myself.
The Snowman looks great..great stitching!

I am so glad to hear your little one is ok. How scary that must have been!

I wanted to let you know that I have left a little surprise for you on my blog. So please stop by when you have a chance.

You were wise to check on him every few hours. Head injuries can be really tricky and scary. Glad all is alright though. I'll say some prayers for Chuy...I hope all will turn out okeydokey. Are the browns like the blacks in Boooo???? (lolol)

That can be so scary esp. for a little one.
I do hope Steb's nose recovers quick.
That snow man is looking so nice and Love the deer, all that brown makes it worth it. Kinda has a painted look.
A week's vacation is better then a summer vacation, I hope all goes well.
Take care!

PS - I thought of you tonight. Inside the back cover of the JCS Christmas Ornament Preview issue (July/Aug), there's an advertisement for some new Jim Shore Kits by Mill House. There are four snowmen in all and they are adorable! Check it out!

That was really frightening regarding Steb. I am glad that he is fine now.

I love the progress of your snowman! Now I know what are the colours you don't really like - greens and browns and blacks.

Poor Steb :( I hope he's feeling better now. ((((HUGS))))

I'm sorry to hear about Chuy. The same things are happening here. Very unstable. That's why I'm so grateful we're not in that position anymore. I hope something else will come through for him.
