Introducing ........

My new project:

It's an Alma Lynne design and the kit is by Janlynn. It's an old kit bought on Ebay a while ago. I don't know when it was released but it is sure an old thing as I got the surprise to find a part of the chart all yellowish. (maybe from the light? ) . The kit didn't include the thread organizer so I created 2 of them and then, the real challenge began: trying to guess the colors. There were five hanks of colors with similar shades ( more fun) in each hank. Some examples: light beige brown and medium dark beige brown or medium beige brown and dark beige brown ... Of course, they ALL look brown I hope I didn't made too many mistakes ... Pre sorted threads is soooooooo convenient !!!

Of course, I changed the aida for a more chrismasy fabric and I chose a 32 count lugana precious metal by Silkweaver. This is another small design : 9 x 14" and here is my first progress (not much but I just started yesterday .)

Thank you all for the nice comments on my finish. You are all very sweet. It always make me feel happy to see you took time to stop by and leave a nice comment for me. Thank you again: I appreciate it more than you think

Pierre and Emma are back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steb was very happy (and it's an understatment ) Tomorrow we'll go back pack shopping for Pierre. For the first year of secondary school, you need a cool back pack right? We are some activities planned like going to the beach or to the zoo and so on but Barbara has all the sun right now so we might be stuck at home unless she's willing to share some of her sunshine

I listened

I hope your glitter ball is still next to you because I stitched this afternoon and tadaaaaaaaaaa:

Of course, it's cuter, brighter in real I'll try to get a better picture outside. Thanks for taking the time to give me your opinion

I didn't start a new project yet because we went for a walk this afternoon and we had a lot of fun throwing rocks in a river

I need your help ladies !!!

See, I'm almost done on the umbrella and I want your opinion on the rain in the original design. I chose a light blue fabric (the color on the scan is close to the original colors) and I am now wondering if I should stitch the rain or not. Will it look weird without the rain? (knowing that with the blue fabric, I'm sure we won't see the threads on the back like in the picture of the kit you can see under my pic.) So please, let me know what you think will look better. Thanks !

I love the duckie too Anyway, this design smells cute

Boys are fun! Why? They love to try new things. This morning, Steb decided it would be a lot of fun to stand in his bath, grab his penis and pee Yesterday, he had told Chuy he had done pee in the bath and I had replied Chuy that was not possible as he had peed BEFORE going to the bath. Well, I guess I was wrong And it's probably time to have him pee like a real cow boy, right?

Pierre and Emma are still having fun. Today they went to visit a
bird park. They had a lot of fun and they saw this show:

Birds are trained to go above the audience. One even touched my dad's hair. The kids were very excited on the phone. Emma even made some effort to explain to her dad in spanish that she saw a mexican parrot . Tomorrow they may go to visit a prehistoric cave.

Yep, I'm making good progress with my bunny: it is so cute, I cannot put it down. That's what is nice with small project: you feel you are always almsot done

I didn't have time yet to show you some pictures of Emma's birthday. We celebrated last sunday with my parents (and some kids from the neighborood that weren't planned ) Look at the silly girl taking a deep breath to blow her eight candles.

This is one of my favorite pictures of that day: she didn't know I was taking a picture so she was very natural. I need to find a way to erase Chuy's hand in her hair.

Later on, we went for a walk (still the same path behind the neighborhood) Steb was on his bike and I was pushing him when he complained soemthing was hurting him on his neck. When I checked, I saw this:

Have you ever seen a yellow fluorescent spider? Me, never and I found almost all the bugs creepy ... (enlarge to see the weird beast ... )

Then I played with the setting on my camera: movement.

So what do you see? A future soccer player or a karate player? ?

Thanks again for your sweet comments on my finish !!!

Are you ready?

Get your dusty glitter ball out of your stitching closet because I have a happy dance tonight !!! So let's dance !!! I finished the robin last night (as planned) Yeah to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!

You can enlarge to see the details

And here is my new project that you all are waiting for:

Like I told you, it's a cutie. It's called April shower by DMC. Have you recognized a Somebunny to love pattern?

I love the little duckie on the right. Of course, it's a small project 5 X 7" (12.5 X 17 cm) and I changed the aida for a 32 count lugana called Castle View by Silkweaver. It's a light blue fabric. I got that kit on sale and couldn't resist too long to the cuteness of that bunny And you know what: I didn't forget anything today The country home is still waiting for me but it can wait

Pierre and Emma are having a lot of fun with their cousins but Steb gets lonely here without them ... Here the weather is cloudy and not very warm so we don't really go out ... We can't even planned an afternoon at the beach.
