When I was last in the US visiting friends and family, I bought the full set of DMC there just to make sure I wouldn't have to buy any more here at 5 times the cost!!mainely stitchinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05915498269348257624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1204803367962189362.post-15875486253561512882007-11-11T13:05:00.000+01:002007-11-11T13:05:00.000+01:00super ton nouveau compteur :-)) moi aussi j'avais ...super ton nouveau compteur :-)) moi aussi j'avais une page de pub avec le précédent, que je n'ai pas avec celui ci...
moi non plus je n'aime pas du tout broder avec le fil blanc ou même écru de DMC, je trouve que la qualité est différente par rapport aux couleurs...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1204803367962189362.post-41223845754035163172007-11-11T12:54:00.000+01:002007-11-11T12:54:00.000+01:00The satin thread sounds interesting. A regular skein costs 60p at my LNS so I only buy from there if I am desperate.Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08883231391662433334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1204803367962189362.post-75395594951818577992007-11-11T04:16:00.000+01:002007-11-11T04:16:00.000+01:00Good luck with the satin threads. No luck yet!! So sorry to hear you also got one that was a downer. I did email them in 2005 and "complained" - I told them about the ones I saw on blogs while I got "dull" solos... they acknowledged it and made a second better pack for me (which I paid for) - it was OK, but it was also duller than the ones I had seen. I did one in 2006, which was no better, but I did not blog about it. This year I bought the smallest pack due to my experiences... got chocolate, karma and some kind of baby pink... no linens and all quite pale and washed out, nothing I plan to use. I did sell the Chocolate though - so I got some of my money back - LOL!! I haven't heard of or seen the DMC satin floss yet, so I am anxiously waiting for them to come to the US :-) If you ever need a deal on DMC, just let me know - it is often $4/1.00 here and I will happily be a floss fairy for you!Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07979966913413598548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1204803367962189362.post-36702547959962429222007-11-10T22:30:00.000+01:002007-11-10T22:30:00.000+01:00The question that every stitcher in the EU asks: h...The question that every stitcher in the EU asks: how is it that DMC is made here, but cheaper nearly everywhere else than in the EU? :O

The satin thread sounds really nice - let us know what it's like to work with. :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
