Dancing mice

They are so happy my little mice that they are dancing today. Ready to stitch, a needle and some floss in hand, they are all smiling !!! You guessed right: I finished my little stitching mice. The backstitching was a little nightmare because they are a lot of it but like always with Margaret Sherry's designs, it is all worth it at the end.

I am so happy to have changed the fabric so I didn't have to stitch all the one over two in the middle of the design. Yes, I'm that smart

School carnival 2010

Today was the school carnival and it was COLD, very cold ... We are having temperature in the 30 °F with cold winds everyday ... Brrrrrrrrrr. I don't really know why the school chose that date ... Steb wanted to be Spiderman but I couldn't find a cheap costume so he chose to be Zorro. At first, he didn't want ma to draw a moustache because the boy on the costume box didn't have one. I had to show him a picture on the internet. How did we live before the internet?

But he was not the onlyone who decided to be a Zorro.

Isn't it the cutest Zorro you have ever seen? I love that picture !!! ( yes I'm bragging but it's my baby that you are looking at. )

The kids went outside the school to parade but it was so cold that really few people were in the streets ... It was really useless ...

Mouse makeover

Once upon a time, there was a little mouse who didn't like herself. She thought she was insignificant, dull, ugly. One day, she saw a shooting star and made a wish.

Fairy Chiloe heard her complaints and decided it was time for a makeover. With the help of the magic wand, she totally changed the life of the little mouse who now thinks life is wonderful. You don't believe me? Just look at her smile !!! See how how happy she is now?

Soon, little mouse is going to have another playdate who will join the fun and help her stitch !!!
